Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar / Rishikesh Your journey begins as you arrive in Haridwar or Rishikesh, where you will be welcomed by our team. After check-in at your hotel, you have the option to explore the town and visit Har Ki Pauri for the Ganga Aarti. This evening aarti is an extraordinary spiritual experience that will set the tone for your journey to Hemkund Sahib.
Day 2: Haridwar / Rishikesh to Govindghat After breakfast, we will begin the drive towards Govindghat, the base for your trek to Hemkund Sahib. Along the way, enjoy the scenic beauty of the Alaknanda River and the lush green hills of Uttarakhand. After reaching Govindghat, relax and prepare for your trek to Hemkund Sahib the next day.
Day 3: Govindghat to Hemkund Sahib (Trek) Start early and begin the trek (about 19 km) to Hemkund Sahib, located at an altitude of 4,329 meters (14,200 feet) above sea level. The trek is surrounded by stunning views of snow-capped mountains, lush valleys, and pristine lakes, making it a truly unique and spiritual experience. Upon arrival at Hemkund Sahib, you’ll visit the Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara, dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru. The Gurudwara is situated beside a glacial lake, making it a peaceful and mesmerizing place for prayer and reflection. Spend time offering your prayers and experiencing the serene atmosphere.
Day 4: Hemkund Sahib to Govindghat and Return to Haridwar After spending the morning at Hemkund Sahib, begin your trek back to Govindghat. Once you reach Govindghat, we will transfer you back to Haridwar or Rishikesh. Enjoy the scenic drive as you reflect on your spiritual journey to one of the most sacred places in India.
Day 5: Departure from Haridwar / Rishikesh After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport for your onward journey. With your heart full of divine blessings and memories, you leave behind the breathtaking mountains of Hemkund Sahib.
